Elmhurst, IL – October 22, 2012 – Barbara Gleason, a lifelong resident of Elmhurst, won a jackpot prize of $100,000 playing Lucky Day Lotto. Gleason matched all five numbers – 03 – 06 – 29 – 31 – 33 – in the October 6 drawing with a Quick Pick.
Gleason works part-time at a local school. She and her husband have two children. She plans to use her lottery prize to pay bills and share some of her good fortune with her son and daughter.
The winning ticket was purchased at Power Market, 572 West Lake Street in Elmhurst. Power Market will receive $1,000, 1 percent of the jackpot amount, for selling the winning ticket.
A weekly Lucky Day Lotto player, Gleason also sometimes plays Mega Millions and Powerball. “Play Quick Picks. It worked for me,” is her advice for other lottery players.
