(CHICAGO, IL -- April 27, 2012) The Illinois Lottery is making a name change this weekend to one of the draw-based numbers game. As of Sunday, April 29, the popular game Little Lotto will be renamed Lucky Day Lotto! Why the change? The Lottery looked at Little Lotto and found that there was nothing “Little” at all about this popular pick five game. Jackpots for Lucky Day Lotto start at $100,000. Drawings are seven days a week with over 35,000 winners every day! That’s over 200,000 winners in Illinois every week!
And starting May 13th, for even more fun, players can add EZmatch to win up to $500 instantly for an additional $1 per play. The EZmatch option provides a second set of numbers that will be selected and printed on Lucky Day Lotto tickets. Match any EZmatch number to any of Lucky Day Lotto numbers and win prize shown instantly. To play, ask the clerk or mark your playslip.
Throughout the month of May, people across Illinois will see TV commercials, Metro radio spots, digital advertising and out of home advertising like billboards that talk about Lucky Day Lotto. To mirror the new name, the look and feel of Lucky Day Lotto is very uplifting, sunny and positive. We’ve inserted a lot of humorous taglines into the campaign, each crafted to help our customers recognize that “today could be your lucky day.” Click here to view the new television spot for Lucky Day Lotto.
