Chicago, IL—March 20, 2013 —Powerball rolled Saturday night bringing the jackpot to $260 million for tonight’s drawing. The winning numbers from Saturday night’s drawing were: 03 - 07 - 21 - 44 - 53 and the Powerball was 16. While no one won Saturday’s jackpot by matching all six numbers, three Illinois players won big when they matched the first five Powerball numbers to win prizes of either $2 million or $1 million.
Two lucky winners, who have yet to come forward, won $2 million with Powerball Quick Picks that included the Power Play® game option. Power Play® is a special feature that increases all non-jackpot prizes. The Match 5# prize doubles to $2 million with Power Play. The winning $2 million tickets were sold at Falcon Pantry, 6601 South Cass Avenue, in Westmont, and at Armanettis Wine & Spirits, 9513 West Grand Avenue, in Franklin Park. Each store will receive a $20,000 selling bonus, equal to 1 percent of the prize amount.
Grisel Jr. Food & Liquor, 2000 North Leavitt, in Chicago also sold a winning Match 5 Powerball ticket (without the Power Play® option), netting the unidentified winner won $1 million. This store will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
