CHICAGO, IL – January 8, 2013 – The Lottery is ringing in 2013 with four new instant games that sport top prizes ranging from $3,000 to $2 million. Match 3 Tripler, Lucky in Love, Lucky Start! and Mega Cash – are the newest games of the new year, joining popular instant games like Veterans Cash and Birthday Surprise, and popular numbers games like Lotto with Extra Shot. Match 3 Tripler is a new instant ticket where for as little as $1, players can win up to $3,000. Players win this game by matching three like amounts or by matching two like amounts and uncovering a 3X symbol. Overall odds of winning a prize on Match 3 Tripler are 1-in-4.91.
The new $2 instant game, Lucky in Love, premieres just before Valentine’s Day in February. This game offers players the chance to win a top prize of $20,000. When players match any of their numbers to either winning number, they win the prize shown for that number. If they uncover a cupid symbol, they automatically win the prize shown for that symbol. Overall odds of winning are 1-in-4.55.
Do you routinely press the alarm clock snooze button? Sometimes people need a little extra incentive to start their day. With Lucky Start! players wake up to the possibility of winning up $200,000. This new $5 game features the popular match-number game play, with several fun twists: Those that reveal a money bag symbol automatically win the prize shown; Uncover a double money-sign symbol and win double the prize shown; get a 5X symbol they and win five times the prize shown! Overall odds of winning on Lucky Start! are 1-in-4.10.
Mega Cash offers players the chance to win up to $2,000,000 on a single $10 instant ticket. Players have 15 chances to win a prize on each ticket. Mega Cash also has a match-number game play with some twists: If players get a money bag symbol, they win the prize shown for that symbol automatically; those that reveal a double money sign symbol win double the prize shown; and players who get a 10X symbol win ten times the prize shown. Overall odds of winning a prize are 1-in-3.56.
