CSR EVENT RECAP

FISCAL YEAR 2014

While the Illinois Lottery strives to maximize revenue for the Common School Fund and Capital Improvements, one of our key drivers is to make Illinois a better place for you and your family. We have established valued community and corporate partnerships and the Illinois Lottery reflects the rich diversity of our state by observing Hispanic Heritage Awareness Month, Black History Month, and Asian Pacific American Heritage Month.

In celebration of Earth Day 2014, we focused on committing to make everyday Earth Day. For example, we minimize our carbon footprint by printing all Lottery instant tickets on fully recyclable paper and we now give players the option to go completely paperless when buying their Powerball, Mega Millions, or Lotto tickets online or on the mobile app.

It is important that we weave the Lottery into the fabric of Illinois and remind even the smallest communities that “Anything’s Possible™”. We have supported over 20 community events in the previous fiscal year and look to participate in more in the upcoming months.
