Alton Woman Wins Trip to Play Wheel of Fortune

Illinois Lottery sends three players to Hollywood

ALTON, Ill. – Aug 24, 2011 – The Illinois Lottery announced today that an Alton woman is one of three to win an all expenses paid trip to Hollywood to play a Lottery players-only game of Wheel of Fortune with Pat Sajak and Vanna White. 

Nikeyla Thomas won the trip through the Illinois Lottery’s Wheel of Fortune instant game, which features a second-chance drawing that gives players the opportunity to enter their non-winning tickets for a chance to win $1 million and an all-expense paid trip to Hollywood to play Wheel of Fortune. 

Ms. Thomas will fly to Hollywood with three guests. She will also receive $1,000 in spending money in addition to prizes won during the game. 

The Wheel of Fortune instant game debuted in June and boasts more than $28 million in total prizes, including top prizes of $250,000, $10,000 and $1,000.
