CHICAGO, IL— March 14, 2012 — The Illinois Lottery has once again sold out of the St. Patrick’s Day Millionaire Raffle game. Lottery officials announced the sellout at 9:30 am Tuesday, and as luck would have it, recently introduced a new instant ticket appropriately titled, Lucky Green right in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Lucky Green is $2 and gives players the chance to win up to $20,000. It is available at more than 7,800 lottery retailers located throughout the state.

Lottery players who purchased a St. Patrick’s Day Millionaire Raffle ticket can check the Lottery website www.illinoislottery.com, Facebook page (www.facebook.com/illinoislottery) or Twitter page (http://twitter.com/illinoislottery) on Saturday, March 17th to see if they are one of the 509 lucky winners.

The St. Patrick’s Day Millionaire Raffle is one of the most popular games offered by the Illinois Lottery and provides players the best odds to win a million dollars (1 in 125,000). Raffle ticket holders have a chance to win one of four $1,000,000 top prizes, five $100,000 prizes and 500 $1,000 prizes.

The Lottery is also reminding players to check to see they are holding one of 47 $1,000 winning raffle tickets that are still unclaimed from last year’s St. Patrick’s Day Millionaire Raffle. These prizes will expire at midnight on Saturday, March 17th. Players can check their 2011 raffle tickets on the Lottery website.
