CHICAGO, IL—October 3, 2013 — They say the early bird gets the worm and this rings true for a lucky Halloween Millionaire Raffle ticket holder in LaSalle County.

The $500,000 winning ticket was sold at:

  • MAR-SHELL STATION, 2922 E 24TH ROAD, MARSILLES — WINNING TICKET NUMBER: 31888

The next drawing for the Halloween Raffle Grand Prizes will take place on November 1 and will award four $1 million prizes to lucky ticket holders. Leading up to the November 1 drawing, up to 5,000 players will also win $100 instantly if their ticket qualifies for an instant-win prize. Tickets that qualify for an instant $100 prize will be clearly marked as such on an addendum attached to the regular raffle ticket (which should be retained by the player). Another indicator of an instant raffle win will come from the Lottery ticket terminal, which will play a tune whenever an instant $100 winning raffle ticket is printed.

Halloween Raffle is played like a typical raffle game. Each Halloween Raffle ticket contains a unique number automatically generated by the Lottery terminal. Raffle tickets are sold in sequential order throughout the state beginning with ticket number 000,001 and ending with ticket number 500,000. A player’s raffle ticket must exactly match one of the winning number sequences drawn in the October 3 and November 1 drawings. Players must be at least 18, and must retain their raffle ticket to claim a prize. The 5,000 instant win prizes of $100 each must be claimed at a Lottery retail location.
