McHenry, IL—July 31, 2013— “This is a dream come true -- my ship has come in!” Rosalina Deinlein said excitedly when she visited the Illinois Lottery Des Plaines Prize Center to present her $200,000 winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket. The lucky McHenry resident checked her ticket at a gas station and was shocked to discover that her numbers — 03 - 06 - 11 - 26 - 30 — were a perfect match in the July 12 Lucky Day Lotto evening drawing.

Deinlein plans to use her lottery windfall to buy a house. “I rent an apartment right now, and now I can have my own house.” When asked if she had any advice for others about playing the lottery she said, “Take a chance and buy a ticket, but be smart and only spend what you can afford.”

Deinlein chose her numbers randomly and purchased her winning ticket at Meijer Gas, 2149 North Richmond Road, in McHenry. The retailer will receive a $2,000 bonus, equal to 1 percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket. This is the second big prize winning lottery ticket sold recently in McHenry. 7-Eleven located at 3808 West Elm Street sold a $1million winning ticket for the June 12 Powerball drawing.

Jackpots for Lucky Day Lotto start at $100,000. Drawings are now twice a day, seven days a week with over 40,000 winners every day. That’s over 250,000 winners in Illinois every week! For more information, please visit www.illinoislottery.com.
