Austin, Arlington Heights and Online Players Win Prizes This Week
CHICAGO – If you bought a Lucky Day Lotto ticket this week you may want to check it right away! The Lucky Day Lotto jackpot was hit three times over the past week, creating five winners in Illinois.
On the Wednesday, May 20 evening drawing, one Illinois Lottery app player won the $550,000 Lucky Day Lotto prize.
Over Memorial Day weekend, two players split the $450,000 jackpot in the Sunday, May 24 evening drawing. One of the winning tickets, worth $225,000, was purchased at M&M Quick Food in Austin. The other winning ticket was purchased online through the Illinois Lottery app.
Then, on the Tuesday, May 26 midday drawing two winning tickets split the $200,000 jackpot. One of the tickets, worth $100,000, was sold at Westgate Newsstand in Arlington Heights. The other winning ticket was purchased online through the Illinois Lottery website.
The two largest online lottery prizes ever won in the U.S. were in Illinois, and these latest prizes build on the track record of online Illinois Lottery wins.
In total, online Illinois Lottery players have won more than $21 million in prizes this year, playing through the Lottery’s website and app.
