Downers Grove Resident Wins $100,000 Jackpot

DOWNERS GROVE, IL — March 21, 2018 — Ivanka Detchevska of Downers Grove won $100,000 when her Lucky Day Lotto ticket matched all five winning numbers – 11 - 24 - 29 - 31 - 44 – in the Saturday, February 24, 2018, evening drawing. Detchevska received the ticket as a 50th birthday present, with “good luck” written at the top. She plans to invest her winnings and take a vacation.
Detchevska’s winning Quick Pick ticket was purchased at Jewel-Osco, 1860 S. Arlington Heights Road, in Arlington Heights. The retailer received a bonus of $1,000 or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket. Lucky Day Lotto drawings are twice a day and seven days a week.
