Forest Park Retiree Hits $4,250,000 Lotto Jackpot

FOREST PARK, IL — March 22, 2018 — Forest Park retiree Charles Vincent won a $4,250,000 jackpot when his Lotto ticket matched all six winning numbers – 11 - 19 - 26 - 28 - 48 - 49 – in the Monday, January 22, drawing. “Money should be a joy!” said Vincent, who plans on using his winnings to remodel his home and take a river cruise in Europe.
Vincent, a longtime player of the Illinois Lottery, said, “You won’t win if you don’t play. Buy a ticket.” Vincent purchased his winning Lotto Quick Pick ticket at 7-Eleven, 7749 W. Roosevelt Road, in Forest Park. The retailer received a bonus of $42,500, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
