Rockford Resident Wins $250,000 Illinois Lottery Prize

ROCKFORD, IL — March 1, 2018 — Samuel Zammuto of Rockford scratched a Black Ice 7s ticket and instantly won a $250,000 top prize. Zammuto plans to use his winnings to invest in his grandchildren’s education.

Zammuto purchased his lottery ticket at a Fas Mart, 6010 E. Riverside Blvd., in Loves Park. The retailer received a bonus of $2,500, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
