CHICAGO, IL — July 20, 2018 — If you purchased a Lucky Day Lotto ticket in Wilmette, you may want to check it right away! A convenience store in Wilmette sold a $550,000 winning ticket in the Friday, July 20, midday drawing.
The winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket was purchased at 7-Eleven, 500 Skokie Blvd., and matched all five numbers – 03 - 05 - 07 - 25 - 45 – to win the jackpot. The retailer will receive a bonus of $5,500, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket.
The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winners to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights. Winners have one year from the original drawing date to claim their prize.
