Roselle Resident Wins $10 Million Illinois Lottery Prize
CHICAGO — A Roselle man, who said he’s been playing the Lottery regularly for 15 years, instantly won $10 million when he scratched a $10 Million Cash Bonanza ticket.
“I was so excited when I scratched the ticket, I wanted to cash it right away! But I waited, and didn’t tell my family until the next day,” said the lucky winner, who made his prize claim in February.
The winner plans to save most of his winnings, pay off some debt and take a trip, although he hasn’t decided where.
The retailer who sold the winning instant ticket, BP, 5 W. Irving Park Road, in Roselle, received a bonus of $100,000, or one percent of the prize amount. $10 Million Cash Bonanza was a $30 instant ticket that featured three top prizes of $10 million.
