Lucky 7 Instant Tickets Now Available; Powerball Jackpot Reaches $495 million

CHICAGO – Those in search of more green this St. Patrick’s Day need to look no further than the Illinois Lottery’s new Lucky 7 instant tickets. Players with the luck of the Irish have the chance to win more than $1.7 million with the new Lucky 7 tickets.

These luck-themed tickets are available at $1, $2, $5, $10 and $20 price points. Players have the chance to win up to $7,777, $17,777, $77,777, $777,777 and $1,777,777 from each ticket, respectively. Prizes can be multiplied by 2x, 3x, 7x and 20x, and all tickets have a bonus play where players can instantly win between $5 and $100.

Players looking to fill their pot of gold can also try their luck with Powerball. Players have the chance to win an estimated $495 million jackpot in Saturday’s drawing. This is the eighth-largest jackpot in Powerball game history, with the cash option at an estimated $300.2 million.

The winning numbers from Wednesday’s Powerball drawing were 18, 36, 45, 47 and 69, and the Powerball number was 14. While there was no jackpot winner in Wednesday night’s drawing, more than 46,700 Illinois players won prizes ranging from $4 to $150,000, totaling more than $460,000 in prizes won.

If the thought of winning millions isn’t enticing enough, about 25 cents of every dollar spent playing the Illinois Lottery goes back to the State of Illinois to support K-12 public education, infrastructure projects and other good causes.
