A gas station in Chicago sold a $650,000 winning ticket in the Friday, September 20, evening draw, and a grocery store in Palos Park sold a $100,000 winning ticket in the Saturday, September 21, midday draw.
The winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in the Friday, September 20, evening draw was purchased at Peterson Citgo, 1840 W. Peterson Ave., in Chicago, and matched all five numbers – 11- 13 - 14 - 22 - 26 – to win a $650,000 prize. The retailer will receive a bonus of $6,500, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket. More than 28,000 prizes, ranging from $1 to $200, were won in this Lucky Day Lotto drawing. In all, players won more than $724,300 in this drawing.
The winning Lucky Day Lotto ticket in the Saturday, September 21, midday draw was purchased at Jewel Food Store, 9652 W. 131st St., in Palos Park, and matched all five numbers – 11 - 17 - 18 - 19 - 38 – to win a $100,000 prize. The retailer will receive a bonus of $1,000, or one percent of the prize amount, for selling the winning ticket. More than 11,700 prizes, ranging from $1 to $200, were won in this Lucky Day Lotto drawing. In all, players won more than $128,400 in this drawing.
The Illinois Lottery urges the lucky winners to sign the back of the ticket and keep it in a safe place until they call 1-800-252-1775 or visit one of the Lottery’s five Prize Centers in Chicago, Des Plaines, Rockford, Springfield or Fairview Heights.
