Illinois Lottery Campaigns Win 2020 Skyline Awards

CHICAGO – The Illinois Lottery is thrilled that two of its campaigns recently received 2020 Skyline Awards for Best Sponsorship Activation and Best Use of Social Media from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Chicago Chapter.

The PRSA annual Skyline Awards are Chicago’s premier public relations and communications awards competition, intended to celebrate creativity and innovation in public relations and showcase business impact and results. PRSA Chicago membership includes representatives from some of the nation’s premier PR agencies and Fortune 500 corporations. With more than 500 members representing the industry’s best and brightest, PRSA Chicago is one of the largest PRSA chapters.

Through the combined efforts of Camelot Illinois, the Illinois Lottery and Flowers Communications Group, the Illinois Lottery Show Us Your App! campaign won Best Sponsorship Activation. The campaign provided players with fun and engaging activations and prizes at Chicagoland Speedways, Taste of Chicago, the Illinois State Fair and the Illinois Lottery Concert Series.

Best Use of Social Media was also awarded to the Illinois Lottery, Camelot Illinois and Grisko LLC for their work on the Faces of the Illinois Lottery. The campaign celebrated the Lottery’s contributions to the community by featuring individuals who have benefitted from the Illinois Lottery’s support of education and special causes.

The Chicago Police Memorial Foundation is one of the organizations that benefits from the Illinois Lottery’s BLUE ticket.
