Great 8’s Instant Ticket Brings Big Prize to Bradley Player
CHICAGO—An Illinois Lottery player from Bradley just turned their day from good to great after winning $188,888 on a Great 8’s instant ticket.
Todd Tyler is a regular lottery ticket player, but he almost couldn’t believe his luck when he scratched the ticket bought from his local gas station.
“When I found out that I won, I was in my car after work,” says Tyler, who was in disbelief over what he was seeing. “My first reaction was ‘Is this real?’”
Tyler has been playing the Illinois Lottery since he was old enough to buy tickets and it comes as no surprise that scratch tickets top the list of his favorite games to play.
When it came time to share the news about his win, Tyler turned first to the leading lady in his life, “The first person I told was my wife, because it’s THE wife,” he laughed.
The winning ticket was purchased from Meijer gas station at 1010 N. Kinzie Ave. in Bradley, Illinois.
