Genoa Lottery Player Wins Largest Quick Spot Jackpot
Players Across Illinois Celebrate Wins With Fast Play’s Newest Game
CHICAGO—The Illinois Lottery recently introduced Quick Spot to its Fast Play family of games, and it’s already bringing in big prizes and winning moments to players across the state.
A lottery player in Genoa recently bought a $5 Quick Spot ticket, which turned into a $32,656 prize- the largest jackpot amount won to date since the game’s launch. This winning ticket was purchased at Butera Market at 4801 State St. in Genoa, Illinois.
Two other players are celebrating Quick Spot wins too. One player in Quincy picked up a $1 Quick Spot ticket on May 25 and won a $5,316 prize. This ticket was purchased at Wilco Fast Break at 4801 State St. in Quincy, Illinois.
Another player’s decision to play the $1 Quick Spot game in Chicago brought them a nice chunk of change when they scooped up a $6,943 prize on May 28. This ticket was purchased at Lucky Mart at 2900 W. 87th St. in Chicago.
Abed Ayesh, owner of the Lucky Mart where one of the winning $1 Quick Spot tickets was sold, was excited to receive the news about this recent win. "This store has been known for Illinois Lottery big winners for over 25 years. We love our customers and I'm happy to see them win," he said.
Illinois Lottery retailers are winners too, with stores that sell winning tickets receiving a selling bonus of 1% of the prize amount.
Ayesh shared that he has already decided how he plans to spend his retailer’s selling bonus and will mirror the Illinois Lottery's support of education, "I am going to donate the selling bonus for kid's school supplies,” he said.
Launched in September 2020, the Fast Play category of games was the first of its kind to be sold in Illinois with a variety of play styles and prize types including two games that feature progressive-style jackpots like Quick Spot, where the jackpot grows every two minutes.
In just over six months, more than eight million winning Fast Play tickets have helped Illinois Lottery players collect over $24 million in prizes.
Fast Play is available in every Illinois Lottery retail outlet statewide and for more information on Quick Spot and other Fast Play games, visit the Illinois Lottery website.
