$250,000 Lucky Day Lotto Prize Set to Expire in One Month

October 8th, 2026

CHICAGO, October 8, 2026 — The Illinois Lottery is encouraging players to check their Lucky Day Lotto tickets as the deadline approaches to claim a $250,000 winning ticket purchased nearly a year ago in Chicago. If the winning ticket is not claimed, the prize will expire in one month.

The winning ticket was purchased for the November 7, 2025 Lucky Day Lotto drawing at the BP gas station located at 10300 S. Torrence Ave. in Chicago.

The Illinois Lottery is encouraging anyone who bought a Lucky Day Lotto ticket for that drawing to search high and low for the missing winning ticket. The deadline to claim the $250,000 prize is quickly approaching.

The ticket is among several unclaimed Illinois Lottery prizes that are set to expire soon.

Lottery winners have one year from the draw date to claim their prize. A full list of unclaimed prizes is available on the Illinois Lottery’s website.

The Illinois Lottery encourages anyone who believes they may hold a winning ticket to sign the back of the ticket immediately and store it in a safe place until they are ready to claim their prize.
