Celebrate the Launch of HotWins with Games, Prizes, and Summer Fun in Downtown Chicago

CHICAGO, June 15, 2026 — The Illinois Lottery is bringing the heat to downtown Chicago this week with “HotWins Dollar Days of $ummer,” a high-energy, interactive event celebrating the launch of its newest game, HotWins®. 

The event takes place on June 17, 2026 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Plaza of the Americas, 430 N. Michigan Ave., in downtown Chicago. The space will be transformed into a sizzling festival where attendees can enjoy games, prizes, and non-stop excitement—and a chance to win a share of $25,000 in cash prizes.

At the heart of the experience is HotWins, the Illinois Lottery’s fast-paced, social game, designed for real-time wins and shared excitement. With new drawings every four minutes, except from 3:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m., it turns everyday moments into thrilling opportunities to win.

“This event is designed to bring the energy of HotWins to life with social experiences and a rapid-fire rhythm of excitement,” said Harold Mays, Director of the Illinois Lottery. “Just like the real game, every attendee will have multiple chances to play and win cash in minutes.”

HotWins Dollar Days of $ummer invites Chicagoans to step into a fully immersive HotWins experience, featuring the following:  

  • Summer Sizzler Game Wall – A larger-than-life magnetic game board where participants can play for cash prizes.
  • Draw Ball Machine – For those who don’t win playing the Summer Sizzler Game Wall, a second-chance opportunity to win cash prizes. 
  • HotWins Lounge – A space to relax, connect, and keep the excitement going. Players can play the HotWins game by selecting up to 10 numbers from 1 to 80 for a chance to win a prize. Wagers start at $1, with options to increase stakes for higher potential payouts.

Built around the energy of HotWins, the experience mirrors the game itself—fast and social. With multiple chances to win, continuous gameplay, and a steady stream of cash prizes, every HotWins Dollar Days of $ummer attendee has an opportunity to walk away a winner.
