Rockford Area Resident Hits ‘HotWins’ Three Times Since Launch

CHICAGO, July 15, 2026 — A Rockford area resident is enjoying an impressive winning streak after claiming three prizes playing the Illinois Lottery’s HotWins® game since its launch in November 2025. 

Robert most recently won $2,350 playing HotWins, adding to earlier prizes of $1,050 and $815. The latest wins follow another memorable lottery moment last summer, when he won a $200,000 Lucky Day Lotto jackpot. 

Reflecting on his recent winning streak, Robert said, “It feels different than hitting that big jackpot, but I love the playstyle. The game moves fast with a draw every four minutes—you can’t beat that speed.”

For Robert, HotWins has become more than just a game—it’s also a social activity. 

"I’ve recruited friends and family to join in on the fun. It’s always an exciting way to spend a few minutes," he said.

Robert plans to use his latest winnings to treat himself while also investing in his future.
