Illinois Lotto Player Wins $1 Million, Following $10.25 Million Weekend Jackpot Win

August 5th, 2026

CHICAGO, August 5, 2026 — Another Illinois Lottery player is celebrating a life-changing Lotto® win after matching all six numbers in the Monday, August 3, 2026 Lotto Million 1 drawing to claim the game’s $1 million prize.

The lucky online player matched the winning numbers — 7-13-19-22-27-47 — and also won an additional $2 for matching two of six numbers on another line of play.

The big win comes just days after another Lotto player hit a massive $10.25 million jackpot in the Saturday, August 1, 2026 Lotto drawing. The jackpot-winning ticket was purchased at Tony’s Fresh Market, located at 2300 S. Route 59 in Plainfield.

As a result of selling the winning ticket, Tony’s Fresh Market will receive a $102,500 selling bonus — one percent of the total prize amount.

The winners have one year from the date of their respective drawings to claim their prizes.

To date, Illinois Lottery players have claimed nearly 3.7 million winning Lotto tickets, with total prizes exceeding $44 million.

Lotto is an Illinois-only game that is played three times a week on Monday, Thursday and Saturday. Tickets for the game can be purchased in-store, online, or on the Illinois Lottery app.
