$2 Million Mega Millions Prize Won Online

CHICAGO—If you bought a Mega Millions ticket through the Illinois Lottery app, you may want to check your emails! In the Friday, June 26 Mega Millions drawing, one lucky app player won a $2 million Mega Millions prize.

The winning Mega Millions ticket matched five numbers – 19 - 33 - 37 - 56 - 57 – and doubled the prize with the 2x Megaplier.

Although stay-at-home orders are lifting throughout the state, online play remains a popular choice by Illinois Lottery players. In addition to the $2 million online winner, another lucky player won a $10,000 prize purchased at SMR Mart in Watseka.

Nearly 3,000 other online players took home a total of over $14,000 in prizes in this drawing.  In all, more than 15,000 other prizes, ranging from $2 to $10,000 were won in this Mega Millions drawing in Illinois.

The Mega Millions jackpot is now at an estimated $83 million, with a cash option of $65.5 million. Mega Millions is played twice a week - on Tuesday and Friday. The next prize draw is at 10 p.m. (CT) on Friday, July 10.
